Advanced interventional endoscopy procedures provide improved standards and options for the diagnosis and treatment of ailments affecting the GI tract. The Foundation for Interventional and Therapeutic Endoscopy’s mission supports the highest level of expertise, outcomes, research, and value for patient care.

This is to ensure that your procedure or treatment is in qualified hands and centers. FITE-affiliated endoscopists are those who have completed a specialized advanced training fellowship or have been vetted by the FITE team as having adequate training in interventional endoscopy.

Please note that the field of advanced endoscopy is rapidly evolving, and as such, not all advanced procedures are performed by all interventional endoscopists. It will be important to discuss your ailment and procedure with your physician prior to the procedure.
